The Student Trainee will have the opportunity to apply their background in foreign languages, regional studies, international relations, political science, history, business, economics, or finance to DFC's advancement of U.S. foreign policy. Key responsibilities will include:
- Using related steps, processes, or methods, monitor and analyze political and economic developments in countries in which DFC operates, including for DFC leadership.
- Inventory, aggregate, and narrate DFC's investments, especially to prepare for engagements with foreign governments and key stakeholders.
- Register, escort, and otherwise welcome visitors.
- Set up, attend, and take notes in meetings. Write and circulate readouts that capture the key points and follow-up actions coming out of those meetings.
- Draft tweets and other social media posts.
