Cadmus Group seeks an entry-level professional to provide both administrative and technical support to our growing International Environment and Development Practice.
The practice supports the environmentally and socially sound design and implementation of international development projects in Africa, Latin America/Caribbean, Eurasia, the Middle East, and Asia/Pacific funded by USAID and other donors.
Duties will initially be about 75% administrative, with technical elements growing over the first year to a more even balance between the two. No international travel is anticipated during the first year; following the first year this professional may travel as needed (up to 10% time) to support trainings, assessments and other field work in developing countries.
Qualifications:

The Gary L. Rozier Student Experience Fellowship for ECON Majors
The Department of Economics is pleased to announce the Gary L. Rozier Student Experience Fellowship. The fellowship provides financial assistance to undergraduate economics majors for experiential learning outside of the classroom, such as unpaid internships, research, service learning, and professional or academic conferences. The fellowship is intended to help offset expenses related to such activities like travel/transportation expenses, professional attire, and other opportunity costs (for example: the need to give up a part-time paid job in order to take an unpaid internship that is more in line with your career goals).

The International Executive Service Corps (IESC) has a Summer 2017 internship opportunity available within its Business Development practice area. This is an unpaid internship. The successful applicant must be able to commit a minimum of 20 hours per week.
IESC is a private, not-for-profit organization that promotes economic growth in developing countries by supporting the development of private enterprises, business support organizations and public institutions. IESC’s New Business Department focuses on developing overarching new business strategies for IESC and identifies and pursues new business opportunities, including responding to requests for proposals for international development project funding. IESC’s internship program is open to students in graduate and undergraduate programs. Students that have graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program within 6 months of applying are eligible for the internship. Previous internship(s) and/or professional work experience preferred. Strong research and writing skills, and an ability to work independently are needed. Interest in knowledge of USAID policies and procedures is a plus.
