Client Service Associate

Location: Bethesda, MD
 
POSITION SUMMARY:
 
This is an entry- to mid-level position which reports directly to the Manager of Client Services. Qualified candidates will thrive as an independent worker in a team environment. Must have an orientation toward customer satisfaction and the ability to let it shine through to our clients. Must possess the ability to take ownership of tasks and complete them accurately and efficiently. Must be able to work cooperatively with various internal groups and teams.
 
KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as first line of contact for client inquiries via phone and email regarding product questions or issues
  • Manage client on-boarding and service initiation
  • Manage exchange of data files with clients
  • Deliver training webinars to clients
  • Work with clients to integrate WealthEngine data into their systems
  • Monitor client usage reports to ensure renewals
  • During client conversations, identify possible upsell opportunities for pursuit by sales team
  •  Identify trends in client needs/requests and effectively communicate those to the Product Development team to improve our product offerings
  • Contribute to special projects, for example: client surveys, training content, and the online knowledgebase
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, especially during delicate client-facing situations. Skills will include ability to convey complex technical information, and to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds and cultures 
  • Strong computer application skills including
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Access is a plus)
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM is a plus 
  • Must be comfortable learning new software and using online services
  • Ability to openly communicate and collaborate in a team environment
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Attention to detail and precision
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience in customer support or account management
  • Previous work affiliation with non-profit, fundraising or volunteer services
