Looking for something to do for a year while you apply to graduate school?

Interested in working abroad post-graduation?

Attend this panel to learn about the different types of short term work opportunities available and how to make yourself marketable! Undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent alumni are encouraged to attend. Panelist attending:
  • Law Resources- specializes in temporary and permanent legal placement.
  • Contemporaries, Inc.- specializes in providing top-notch staffing support services to federal and private sector clients within the D.C. metro area.
  • Teach Thailand Corps - specializes in sending recent graduates to Thailand for 10 months of teaching English.
All participants will receive additional resources on “gap year” experiences as well.

Just In Time Hiring Meet Up: Employer Networking Sessions

Are you graduating in May and still job searching? If the answer is yes, this event is for you!

Come to a relaxed, informal opportunity to meet and greet with organizations that are actively hiring graduating University of Maryland students. Each organization will give a 3-5 minute overview and then be seated at tables to have conversations with students over light refreshments for the remainder of event.
  • 12:00-12:30: 3-5 minute employer presentation
  • 12:30-2:00: Relaxed conversations over refreshments – feel free to stop by even if just for a few minutes!
Appropriate Attire: Minimum attire for ALL sessions with employers present is business casual unless otherwise specified.
