Summer 2017 Internship Program with US-China Policy Foundation

The United States-China Policy Foundation (USCPF) is a non-profit, non-partisan, educational organization dedicated exclusively to broadening awareness of China and U.S.-China relations in the Washington, DC policy community. The USCPF Internship Program provides students with a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in the field of U.S.-China relations. During their time with the Foundation, students will play in active role in researching and writing reports on current issues related to U.S.-China relations, assisting with educational programming and events, and managing the USCPF website.

Description:

USCPF is looking for highly motivated undergraduates and recent graduates with a demonstrated interest in U.S.-China relations to fill part-time, unpaid internships (15-20 hrs/wk). Interns should have excellent research, writing, and editing skills, be detail oriented, and have travel or study abroad experience in Asia and China. U.S. citizenship is required. This is an equal employment opportunity.

Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of key issues in U.S.-China relations
  • Experience in general office, clerical, and administrative support
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent research and writing skills
  • Travel experience in China preferred
  • China specific coursework preferred
  • Knowledge of WordPress
  • Knowledge of Publisher and Adobe InDesign a plus
