POSITION TYPE: Entry Level (Full-Time), Permanent Experienced Hire

 
We currently seek an Econ & Quant Research Associate who will be responsible for reporting economic forecasts and their impact on the industry and the organization. May also provide empirical research reports and recommendations on models, processes, and proposed policy initiatives.

Additional responsibilities include:

- Providing advice to management on a variety of economic issues
- Providing research on macro-economic trends, interest rate forecasts and affordable housing goals
- Developing and maintaining relationships with professional staff of other departments, divisions, and regulator
- Developing sources of research information on models, policies and processes covered
- Applying professional principles, theories, and concepts
- Developing resolutions to problems of limited scope following specific, detailed procedures

Candidates will have the following qualifications:

- BS in Economics, Statistics or related quantitative fields
- Superior analytical ability, as it relates to reviewing and understanding a wide range of topics and issues that are multidimensional and complex in nature
- Experience synthesizing large quantities of data and information, including using SAS, S+, R, or Stata
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
