Seeking UMD student startups to feature at an upcoming alumni event in Baltimore on November 1st!

5:30-8:30 p.m. at City Garage in Baltimore, MD
The event will feature the companies of University of Maryland current students (teams must have at least one current UMD student). Companies should be beyond the idea phase and have achieved proof of concept. Featured groups will need to create a booth that is both engaging and interactive. You may demo your product or service, conduct customer interviews, test the market, etc. Alumni and other guests will vote on the company they think is best and the winner will receive a $1000 prize. Second place will receive a $250 prize.
Selection committee includes members of the Smith School Office of Alumni Relations, Corporate Connect Council, Dingman Center, Startup Shell, and Mtech.
Student exhibitors must be able to provide their own transportation to and from the event.
The application is due by September 19, 2016 and selections will be announced by October 3, 2016.
