Careers in Community Organizing for Social Justice - ONLINE INFO SESSION

The Direct Action & Research Training (DART) Center will hold an online information session on Tuesday, September 26 at 7pm Eastern to discuss careers in community organizing with individuals interested in uniting congregations and working for social, economic and racial justice.

DART hires and trains organizers to build organizations that have successfully addressed issues including:

* Plugging the school-to-prison pipeline
* Reining in predatory lending practices
* Fighting for immigrants' rights
* Education reform in low-performing public schools
* Expanding access to primary health and dental care
* Prioritizing funding for affordable housing and job training
* Criminal justice system reforms to stop the growing criminalization of youth of color

Positions start January 16, 2018 in Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, FL.

Positions start August 13, 2018 in Knoxville, TN, Columbia, SC, Lexington, KY, Richmond, VA, and Daytona Beach, St. Petersburg, Jacksonville, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
