- Serve as an analyst and/or advisor to management on analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of a government program and its operations within a DOE Program Office, or a key segment of a broad, more complex program or organizational component within a Program Office.
- Analyze management information requirements to develop or operate program or administrative reporting systems.
- Develop and recommend reporting approaches that better meet higher level management information needs, identifying the data required for use in the management and direction of programs. Consolidate data as necessary and reviews to ensure accomplishment of objectives, timeliness, and acceptability.
- Identify needs and develop recommendations to modify administrative policies and processes for use in the management and direction of programs and develops data required for the organization to accomplish new requirements.
- Develop management and/or program evaluation plans and procedures within established evaluation frameworks that accommodate changing OMB, Departmental, and/or program office performance management requirements and yield improvements in organization, staffing, work methods, and procedures.
