The Assessment Program at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) is a well-regarded organization that is growing rapidly. We focus on providing our clients with customized assessments that not only measure student achievement against state standards, but also provide meaningful score reports that can help students, parents, and educators address areas of student weakness. Our environment is fast-paced and requires people at all levels who are willing to roll up their sleeves to get the work done on time while maintaining high quality.
We are currently seeking Reporting Interns to provide assistance on score reporting projects in our Washington, DC office for the fall and winter internship programs.
Reporting Interns will work with the Score Reporting team to help conduct quality assurance on our online reporting system and our paper reports. Responsibilities include reviewing variable text for score reports in the Item Tracking System, conducting extensive quality assurance checks on state score reports and reporting back to the reporting team manager. In the process, interns will gain experience with the online delivery of educator and student reporting metrics, QCing large sets of data, and rigorous quality assurance processes. They will also learn the basics of large-scale assessment.
